Salt Lake City has non-stop flights from over 70 U.S. cities and it�s just a short 32 mile drive up Interstate-80 to The Canyons Resort and the quaint and charming town of Park City. Known for �The Greatest Snow on Earth� The Canyons offers the best in snowboarding, skiing and spa facilities. There is an axiom that locals have been known to use, �Folks come to Park City for the winter, but stay for the summer!� Park City boasts a wide variety of summer activities including golf, fly-fishing, hiking. Biking, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, mountain symphonies & concerts, art festivals, gallery strolls & wine festivals.
Other Information: Park City is in many ways the quintessential American Mountain Village with a quaint main street, 3 ski resorts and a rustic charm that dates back to its origin as a silver mining town in 1863. The restaurants are many and varied. As home to the renowned Sundance film festival each January there is a hint of glitz and glamour beneath the natural mountain veneer. It is not uncommon to stroll down Main Street and see Ladies in full-length mink coats and others in jeans, casual pullovers and cowboy boots.

Additional property features: The Canyons Resort is comprised of five (5) lodging facilities totaling 841 rooms. All are within easy walking distance from each other. The Resort provides shuttle service with increased staffing when we have groups staying in various lodges. The majority of meeting space is contained in The Grand Summit Hotel. The other four lodges are Escala, Sundial, Silverado and Vintage on The Strand. Many of our units are one, two and three bedroom suites.

Unusual or different venues & amenities: Meeting and Banquet Facilities � The Canyons boasts a variety of unique, creative and stunning meeting and event venues. Most, if not all, feature the mountain as either a backdrop or as an actual part of the event. Many groups (regardless of season) express interest in hosting their welcome reception on-mountain at Red Pine Lodge, Lookout Cabin or The Sun Lodge. All of these venues offer breathtaking vistas and scrumptious food offerings. The Piazza Di Escala, part of the highly prestigious Escala Lodges complex, provides the look of a Sicilian Village reminiscent of the marriage of Michael Corleone and the lovely Apolonia in Godfather I. We have a plethora of additional suggestions for fun, exciting and unique events.
